"HOME IS FOR LIFE"
Loggerhead turtles navigate the ocean and shallow waters of the Atlantic coastline. Approximately 90% of all loggerheads live off the coast of Florida, and they return to Florida every year to lay their eggs on a stretch of sand that is very close to where they themselves were hatched. For the loggerhead turtle, home is for life. InterCoastal Inspections is Volusia County’s premier home inspection company. We have the deep understanding that, for many of our clients as well, home is for life.

As an experienced inspector, I understand property conditions beyond typical inspection standards. With background in home refurbishment in and around the Port Orange area, I have awareness of the detrimental effects that seemingly minor issues lead to. Especially when it comes to living in a salty, humid, and often wet coastal environment . This knowledge of a home's condition yields a much more comprehensive and insightful inspection. You gain in awareness & you're better informed for the key negotiations and decisions just ahead.
State, National, and International Affiliations:
Based in St. Augustine, InterCoastal Inspections is home inspector certified with leading professional affiliations that allows for on-going continuing education, sharpening of skills and keeping current with new trends. We are certified by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), International Association of Certified Indoor Air Quality Consultants (IAC2).
Florida Inspector Registered:
Florida has some of the toughest licensing criteria of any state in the U.S., for Home Inspection Services. In fact, the licensing criteria is higher for Florida home inspectors than for building contractors in and around the area, which often times require no licensing. Hence, some home inspection firms are operating without state registration/licensing, others have inspectors on-staff who operate under another's license. Neither is the case with our firm, so you can be assured of what kind of inspector you are hiring.
My registration is FL-HI#4600
